Can I paint over a bulletin board?

I was wanting to paint a bulletin board the wood frame and the cork. Will that work and what kind of paint would i use to paint over the cork?

3. i bet that would work with any kind of paint, but i'd only do one coat. sounds like a cute idea :)
4. I wouldn't suggest paint. Maybe you can put some wallpaper with fun patterns on it.
5. Cork is so porous that almost anything will stick. It will be a temporary surface though because it is so soft.
6. Yes you can paint over cork...ask your local paint store....you could also turn it in to a chalk board if you want to.
7. Yes you could can paint over it and use matteral paint. That kind of paint will go into the holes of the cork and will make it stick very well. :)
8. I think that it will work won't find out unless you try it oh color it in red I love the color red
9. i think you can if youre not impatient. i think maybe if you rush the job it won't look perfect
10. yes it is ok. (i did mine like a camouflage pink and black last year) i used acrylic paint ....cheap and works great.
