How to remove cork board from the wall?

When we moved into the new house one of the rooms had a cork board wall. My sister and I now are getting our own rooms and I don't like the cork board so I want to remove out. Any suggestions on how to.

(its not one large piece of cork board its about 108 pieces of cork board that are 1ft by 1ft)
I meant remove it.

also there definetly is a wall behind it. If I look closley I can see that behind the cork is the wall that is the same color as the rest of the room.

  1. The cork tiles are glued directly to the wall. I would use a wonder bar or flat bar and scrape the majority of it off the wall.

Then I would use a wall paper scraper to remove the excess cork and glue. One problem may be the glue residue that does not remove easily. You may have to skim the wall with joint compound, sand and texture to match the other walls.

    Good luck
