Can I board my flight early if I have a cast on my leg?
I tore a tendon in my foot and have a medical boot on. Can I board early?

- You'll have to let your airline know about your foot before you fly so they can make any arragements if needs be. It's all down to the airline you fly with as to wether you can board a flight early or not, so best to check with them.
- if u walk to the airport, NO
- A long time ago, when there was a thing called customer service, airlines would let people that had kids or needed extra time down first.
Unfortunately, management percieved that cost money and it's not done too many places any more, but you can always ask.
- Yes. Ask for a "pre-board authorization" when you check in. You can't check in online though.
- Yep. Most probably
- In most situations, the airline will let you board early. Just let them know at the ticket counter or at the gate.
As far as the actual ease of boaring, if you are using a jetway (which most use) it should be fairly easy.
If it is a regional jet and you use the aircraft stairs it may be a little slower, but you should be fine.
Not sure how comfortable you will be in the seat... ask for a bukhead when you check in and that should offer you a little extra legroom.
Have a good flight!
- They usually announce prior to boarding the aircraft that if anyone that needs special assistance or with a child can board first. So you should be able to board at that time prior to everyone else boarding the aircraft.
- Yes, check at the gate.
- at the check in desk they will take your name and say that it will be announced over the speaker in the departure lounge and you will board 10 mins before passengers
