How do we get energy for the spirit board?

My two other friends and I are really interested i using a spirit board to speak with spirits. I have done it enough times to know what I'm doing (as much as anyone can)

But our problem is that when the three of us try to do it toghether it seems as if we don't have enough energy combined to make it work. We usually just use a board and a planchette of some sort. Is there another way that we could be approaching it?

3. You need to understand that energy plays no role in speaking with people that have died. The energy you speak of just doesn't work that way, it cannot be "channeled" or "controlled". If theres a spirit with sufficient ectoplasm in the room or area your working, they may or may not respond. Its up to them, and a spirit board makes their decision no different. If you find a place with active, ectoplasmic spirits, you won't need a spirit board. You need only mention something that was significant to them near to or at the time of their demise. And even then, the response you get may not be the one you want. You'll likely spend the evening rinsing your underwear.
