What ype of circuit board would I need to wire a series of relays and capacitors?

I need to make a series of circuit, each made up of a relay and a capacitor.



At the local electronic store, I only found only circuit board which is already leaded in series of connected lines (horizontally).



I need a circuit board of only holes with single lead so that I could arrange the circuits ( 1 relay and 1 capacitor) in linear form, side by side and the terminals of the relays and capacitors won't short circuit.



Is there such a circuit board? What do people call it then?

1. The board you saw at the store is called " veroboard " it is the standard DIY board for hobbyists , you just need to have it explained how to use it and you can assemble any circuit , the store should be able to help you.
   
   The other method which is used by the more serious hobbyist is to buy a circuit board etching kit , this consists of a piece of copper sided board , a bath to fit same, some etching acid and an acid resist pen , method is to draw print circuit on copper side drill holes in the appropriate places to where the components are to be inserted and soldered on the finished board ! Put the board into a bath of the acid and the copper gets eaten off except for where the acid resist pen has drawn the circuit, result is a professional looking circuit board
   
   I had forgotten about the breadboard that justme mentions , yes they are also good but they are only for temporary jobs .

2. get a breadboard. any electronics store (radio shack, etc) will have them. its just a board with a grid of holes in it, and you place your components however you want, then just wire the circuit up.
