are their any websites that provide a chat room for people to chat on the internet for free? any have by city?

Im looking to chat on the internet for free with locals in Orlando preferrably. But any website with free chat will do without downloading applications. Thanks.

2. I would tell you to try Yahoo's regional chat rooms http://freechatrooms.blogspot.com/2008/03/free-local-chat-rooms-at-yahoo.html
   
   But they don't have Orlando rooms, for Florida they only have Miami rooms, also you said "without downloading applications", Yahoo chat requires you use Yahoo messenger which is an application that you need to download.

   see if their Orlando chat rooms are any good. I haven't tried them myself so I can't tell you if they are popular or good at all but it's might be worth it.
