How do I enter a yahoo chat room for free in the detroit area?

I need to know how to get to a detroit chat room for free through yahoo. aol have free chat rooms and you dont have to register you just go to the site through aol. Yahoo tries to charge you for chat rooms.

1. Have you tried the Yahoo chat rooms? They are free and you'll find a few (not many) Detroit rooms. I haven't been in them but I can I can see in the list that there are three of them at least. Here's how you enter them.
   
   
   
   First, you need to download the Yahoo messenger from Yahoo, then you install it and sign in. You go in the menu, Messenger>Yahoo Chat>Join a Room. It will load the chat you'll find the list of the rooms go in " Regional ". Expand the list you'll find " United States " Click on it you'll find a list of US chat rooms available you'll see Detroit in the list. cCick on the Detroit room and click on the button "Go to Room".
