does anyone knows any free chat in Korea?

I will be in Gunsan, Korea for 1 year and would like and NEED to make some friends. Can you help me to get the right direction?

1. you can chat with anyone you meet if you have a common language
2. You can find many young fellas and chicks in pubs there.Maybe they just wanna chat with you in English to improve their oral ability.And you gotta get used to their accent that is really hard to follow at the beginning.
3. I say internet chatting is not a good idea to make friends.
   
   Most people you will find are primary school kids because looing at reality highschool to working people don't have time to go online to chat. However you can join clubs of your interests and make friends there that way you have healthier relationships and can make easier conversations.
