Is there a good free chat room out there besides Yahoo?

Yahoo once had great chat rooms - until the robots took over. Is there a good alternative out there?

   Not really a chat room, but it's a great way to chat...you can even see the characters and do other stuff. Create an account at RuneScape.com and get through the tutorial (could take an hour at the most, but once you're through it you never have to do it again), and you'll find yourself in a world full of people. It's got a chat room attached to it. Kind of like the Sims, just walk up to people and talk to them. If you want to get away from other people, you can walk to an area with no one and won't hear anyone except people within earshot. Oh, and turn your speakers down if you don't like synthesized music.
5. defnitely try msn and apply for .net passport, you can default their opening page. you may think about an account with myspace.com also. they layouts on friendstorm and video downloads so you can post pictures and a whole deal.............enjoy
